Partnership between IRIAE and TECNART


On 4 April 2015, IRIAE and TecnArt, Academic spin-off of the University of Turin, have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding based on the common spirit of collaboration and networking and mutual conviction of multidisciplinary of research.

With the Memorandum of Understanding, TecnArt and IRIAE agree to hold a mutual cooperation in the field of scientific and archaeological research, in order to exchange ideas, expertise and information useful to the research, the mutual support to dedicated initiatives, divulgation, participation in research projects.

In addition to the organization of worldwide archaeological research projects, TecnArt and IRIAE are planning the joint implementation of workshops, seminars and training courses in the areas of competence.

Among the first projects being organized it can list:

- The project named ON THE TRACKS OF ASHOKA THE GREAT: DISCOVERING PATALIPUTRA, in India.

- The materials analysis from surveys carried out in the Marche within the project "The Way of Carolingians";

- A research project in Japan on Kofun (proto monumental tombs), in collaboration with some Universities of the Country;
